It is so lovely to be past the COVID-curse, and to be able to enjoy the sunshine again our birthday suits!
Thanks to everyone who was able to be present at our November gathering. It is exciting to see how much enthusiasm there is for the Club’s future, with plans afoot for a major tidy-up in the lead up to our peak season over the summer months, and even greater ambitions for next year!
Our Club email has been receiving lots of enquiries in recent weeks, and we are looking forward to welcoming some new faces to the Club this summer.
In coming days we will be finalising our elections process, and be able to announce via email to members the new office bearers for the Club. Thanks to all of those who have shown an interest in taking up leadership roles, and for the many helpful contributions to our discussions about how we would like to organise the Club in the future. Most importantly, we have all recognised the need for everyone to pitch in and help to keep our community and little piece of paradise as special as it can be!
Our next weekend muster will be on the 11th and 12th of December, 2021. Please let Terry Travago know if you would like to book a van or powered site to avoid missing out!
The next members meeting, which will be led by our new President, will be held under the awning starting at 4pm on Saturday 11th. It will be good to continue sharing ideas, and to try to find a clear way ahead together.
Fingers crossed for some sunshine after all this rain!
