Heinz Memorial Dinner, 6 February 2021

It is difficult to believe that it was 2 years ago that our dear naturist friend and mentor, Heinz Ebert, passed away very suddenly. We miss his optimism and quirky sense of humour, his generosity and kindness, and his grandfatherly presence.

We owe Heinz an enormous debt of gratitude, in that it was only through his willingness to share his naturist paradise that the wonderful nudist community that now exists at Naturi, and the many life-long friendships it has created, was possible.

To honour Heinz’s memory, we are holding a special dinner on the evening of 6 February in the Naturi Clubhouse, kicking off at 6.30 pm. It seems only fitting that this is a “bring and share” event, as this is how Heinz would have liked it, each person’s contribution valued and special.

Heinz’s daughter Maree and her partner Ian have kindly accepted our invitation to attend, and no doubt we will share many stories together about Heinz. To ensure Maree and Ian feel as comfortable as possible, this will be a clothed event.

To ensure that as many members as possible can participate in the monthly meeting, I am moving this to 4.30pm on Saturday under the awning.

Also, as posted on the Chalkboard, the grounds are a bit of a mess following recent storms. It would be greatly appreciated if everyone could lend a hand to help tidy things up during the course of the weekend.

Please let us know if you are coming, and if so, what you will be bringing to the meal!

  1. Hi all, our four visitors for Saturday – Dennis & Shaz and Cindy & John, two married couples, have confirmed that they will arrive at 2pm on Saturday, and stay to be part of the dinner. I will meet them at the gate. Please make them very welcome!!!
    See you all tomorrow.

  2. Hi everyone!
We have a few visitors this weekend, which is exciting news!
On Saturday, we are expecting Dennis, Sharron, Cindy and John.
On Sunday, we have Mark and Sue.
I am just trying to confirm if our Saturday visitors will be staying for dinner, and if so will update here. I have mentioned that they will need to bring some food to share as well.
By the way, my plan for catering is to make waffles for desert, with ice cream and maple syrup! I got a waffle maker for my birthday late last year, and I have been making waffles whenever the opportunity arises! They taste yum!!!
We are aiming to be at Naturi by 1pm for lunch on Saturday. I am hoping the visitors on Saturday will arrive at about 2pm so that I can welcome them.
I will need someone to put their hands up to welcome our Sunday visitors, as Susannah and I will not be staying over this weekend unfortunately.
One last thing – just confirming that our meeting is at 4.30pm on Saturday, and we should all throw some clothes on at about 6pm ahead of the arrival of Maree and Ian.

  3. Hi everyone, I am trying to get final number of participants for Saturday for catering. Looking at chalkboard and events, I think we have
    Alisdar and Maree
    Terry and Ann
    Geoff and Mary
    Greg and Diah
    Sue and Bad
    Vicky and Phil
    Rod and Susannah
    Debbie and Oleg
So I guess we should cater for 20 people.
    Is that correct?

    1. Hi Oleg,
As mentioned in my most recent post, we could also have 4 guests coming for dinner, as well as Maree and Ian as our guests, so that would make 22.

Baz is not a Bad bloke 😉 In fact, I do believe he had a birthday recently!!! xxxx
