Hey everyone! It is great that we are able to continue to use the Club facilities at moment, and so we are going to make the most of it, and have another gathering for Members on the weekend of 18-19 May 2019.
We have decided to adopt a “low key” approach to our May weekend, with no official arrangements regarding catering. It will just be a lovely relaxed weekend together where chilling (hopefully not literally) will be the order of the day!!
Although there is no official entertainment planned for the weekend, our Federal Parliament is holding its three-yearly elections that weekend, and so for those interested we can put on the tele and follow the results of the counting (or not!). There might also need to be a group trip down to a local polling station during the day, during which the wearing of clothes may sadly be required.
Please let Terry know if you want to book a van or trailer/camping site for the weekend.
The pool will be starting to cool down, but the great news is that we have both the sauna and the slow combustion heater to see us through the cold!
Our monthly meeting will be at 11am on Sunday 19th May, rather than on the first Sunday of the month.

Hi everyone, Terry has reminded me that we decided that so far as catering is concerned this weekend, we are going to do a Bring-And-Share thing again – so bring something along (that is not too large in quantity) to share with others. Looking forward to it!

Hello everybody. I was just wondering if there will be a polling booth on site this weekend? Because it’s a hassle getting dressed to go and vote for this very boring election, this weekend. Just asking…

Fantastic! Looks like it is shaping up already to be a good turnout! We’ll need to get that slow combustion fire cranked up, and also use the sauna to keep warm. Bags not go for a swim!
